The Rotaract Club of Horizon Campus launched the Panagahena Parisara project with "Nil Kaaban Kathandare," a workshop on Blue Carbon ecosystems. Partnering with the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society and Nilai University, the event engaged students from 16 schools through talks and simulations, highlighting marine life’s role in climate change. Participants left as certified advocates for Blue Carbon conservation in their communities.
The Rotaract Club of Horizon Campus participated in the Rotaract District 3220's "CleanUp Sri Lanka" initiative, cleaning the Wellivita area and promoting sustainable waste management by handing over collected waste to Neptune Recyclers.
The Mosquigo project by the Community Service Avenue aimed to eradicate disease-spreading mosquitoes near the campus through a 3-week initiative featuring an awareness session, fumigation, and house visits.
